  • This property is advertised as a gated community. Little did I know, the front has NOT been locked since I moved last Jan 2018. This is caused many young homeless to walk of the street onto the property, steal, climb our fenced in pool--with their clothes on and break in to use our laundry room to sleep. (Several of the residents have complained several times!) All because the front entry foot gates are not locked.
  • I am on a lease until 9/08. I (88 yrs.) need to move to Florida for health reasons and to be with my sister. My daughter (61) is on the lease but is my caregiver and will take me to Florida. She will ultimately move to Oklahoma to be with her daughter after my demise. Can we legally cancel the lease with a certified letter and 30 day notice based on these elements? Thank you.   • My husband and I moved 3 weeks ago in a home that was vacant for three months prior to us .we moved hear from California and I bought all new bedding and linen few days after moving. My sofa is also brand new. I have never had bed begs be for in my life so they didn't come from my home in California. About four days ago noticed bites and scratching I thought it might be my nerves or because of dusting wind out side ...no it's bedbugs .and  I can see them coming out cracks of walls so house had them before hand.
  • My Landlord has been providing poor maintenance that "fixes" the problem. Our a/c has been leaking into the hallway and under the sink where the drain connection is. Because of the poor maintenance and the well-being of my family I pipe snaked the drain and provided proper fittings for the drain a total of 1.5hrs of maintenance. I notified the landlord and asked for a reduction in next months rent for labor and materials, am I within my legal right to do so?
